GMT Jubilee discontinued

Apparently a rumor is now around that the GMT II will go back to an oyster bracelet, regardless if they add the Coke or get rid of the Pepsi. Marc Goldberg's latest video went over it.

Thoughts from the community? Personally I don't care/mind but wonder if the grey market will adjust accordingly for those who haven't gotten one yet.

Rolex tends not to flip flop so quickly and the jubilee makes sense for a pilot watch and to separate it more from the submariner family.

Just stop watching his videos.
Even if his source is correct he’s still a drooling goober and is seeking attention... there’s much better content out there.

The oyster fits better as jubilee is more dressy. What they might do is offer both. Which would be a winner in my books.

The perfect answer would be to offer it with a CHOICE of bracelet. But Rolex knows best and they would never allow that.

It's only been offered on the BRLO for 4 years and 2 years on the BLNR. Can't see them discontinuing them after such a short period of time.

Plus Rolex wants to start seperatng the GMT and Sub in looks hence the case sizes are different.

If it is discontinued, I am willing to bet there will be at least 200 threads about its value...

Unlikely to discontinue the jubilee gmt which are not even 5 yrs in production. No hurry to do so as there are still many suckers around to milk their monies for another few years. Seriously I don't think there will be huge release for 2021 except the new explorer series or maybe the AK or Milgauss will be discontinued.

GMT Jubilee discontinued

Ohh thank god. Once the jubilee is discontinued I can sell the BLRO and finally retire. Can’t wait to be filthy rich

I agree 100%. That’s what they used to do way back in the day I believe.

But they used to offer it as an option, I don’t understand why they don’t do that again.

Just sounds like another reason for people to needlessly raise prices before the 7th. I doubt this will happen, and hope it doesn't as I prefer the jubilee. We shall see soon enough though

if they really release a new GMT master 2, then the teaser on the rolex website should be the GMT instead, not the explorer 2.

Also agreed - I don’t think the final clip of the promo video clasp has anything to do with a GMT personally BUT if for some reason a new GMT on oyster is released, I don’t see the jubilee going anywhere

Ok I believe this 100% and thus ask you, how can I profit from this? I am, after all, an investor and just want to buy the most sought upon watches, regardless if I like them.
