The key takeaway from today's releases

Rolex have transitioned from making watches you can't buy, to making watches you don't want to buy.

Haha. How very true. Waiting lists will definitely be a thing of the past if this trend continues.

The crazy thing is the demand will still be unfulfillable.

The key takeaway from today's releases

Not Impressive!

If you want one they will be available later today on the Secondary Market!

Excellent comment my friend. Don’t want any of it except for maybe a Batman with an oyster bracelet.

I disagree and think the Explorer 36mm looks great.

Also, this release proves that Rolex doesn’t give a crap about the secondary market.

Rolex is making watches for its huge and growing global market, not the niche "sports" market we think is so important here.

They need to release some models to show in the case. The 2-tone Explorer fits the bill. For few years, Air-King alone was doing the honors!

SPOT ON!!!

Dont get me wrong I like some TT watches ie 116523 and 116613 in my sig line but a TT Explorer at 36mm?????

Sorry if I have offended anyone who does but yikes. I'm sure the last thing a cave diver/mountain climber/whatever is thinking when it comes to there watch is "hey I need some gold on my wrist" and a dial I cant read. Glad I already have my Explorers.

Just sayin

More watches the ADs can't sell. There will be even more bundling to flippers and grey dealers. As a result the prices for desirable references will be even higher!

Strategy is obvious - create more options to bundle with the models people actually want.

What happened to all those who advised just a few days ago to rush out and grab an Ex2 Polar with steel bezel? All of the sudden that advise is no longer valid?

I think that puts it into perspective. We operate in a bit of a bubble here at times
