Rolex Datejust 36 Palm Dial
This is so unlike anything I’d traditionally desire, but I just like/want it. It’s fun and you know it’s great under the hood. Anyone else?

I would have to see it. I think I would tire if it quickly.

I think it evokes the beauty of nature and adds visual interest to the dial. I am a fan of sunburst dials on certain watches, and I think their technique here of manufacturing the dial so that the play of light shows palm fronds adds value. If I were in the market for a DJ I would be going for it. Something different!

Not unusual. Last time they had flower dials and now leaves.
Future will have ladybirds, bees, butterflies, simba, pumba etc...

I really like it. It was one of my favorite from last week's releases (though that isn't saying much).
It is similar to the colorful OPs, they evoke a sense of playfulness. |

It took me by surprise that Rolex would venture into producing such a different and unique dial but it’s grown on me, I actually love it on the fluted bezel and jubilee. I think it’s going to be one of those unique pieces that collectors are going to take a serious interest in, it’s unique and it’s got the different shades of the famous “Rolex Green”.
According to my AD, it’s been one of the most sort after new models that people have been asking for. Good luck getting one basically! |

I like it, and want one in a strange way as well. Based off my wife’s reaction to me telling her that I don’t think it’s going to happen though. Seems to be a pretty divisive model.

I think it's high on the fun factor, I say why not.

I’d like this green on a DJ without the palm pattern. Great color

I wish Rolex put this dial on their OP models, more symmetrical looks. Cheers https://www.instagram.com/fliegerb777/

Personally I think the weed dial is absolute boss and looks much better in the flesh! Very much want, and if my name wasn't down for a 36mm explorer it would be for this!!

I feel as if Rolex is trying to play the dial game like Grand Seiko and they should leave it up to the masters.

Let’s have it right , if any brand other than Rolex had put that dial out you’d all be calling it blind .
