Crazy Willy Wonka tour inside Lilitz PA Rolex
Found this on reddit....
Real or not it's a fun read. Even got his 5513 fixed on the spot and snapped one naughty insider photo https://www.reddit.com/r/rolex/comme...the_holy_land/ |

It doesn’t appear to have the skateboard conveyer belt that rscny uses to transport watches in their service Dept.

It's actually a pretty cool story. Quite the provenance on his sub too.

Feel like we should at least try to cover our eyes when looking at these pics. But sort of look out through the fingers.

Very cool. I think I read somewhere that it's a school, in addition to doing vintage repairs.

Enjoyed reading that, thanks for sharing.
Wonder how long until the Rolex lawyers try to get that removed from Reddit. |

Great story and photo! I’d love to go there. Rolex and Patek Philippe were once clients of mine but I never got a tour, the best I ever got was a Patek necktie.

Great story. Drove up to that location once when I was new to this thinking I’d get a tour. The mysterious voice at the parking gate said “No sir we are not open to the public”. Bummer. It is fairly close the national watch and clock museum though and that was cool to visit.

Excellent, thanks! Yes, a welcome change from value retention, AD strategies, and the like.
I'm pretty sure when my Daytona had an issue, Beverly Hills Rolex center sent it out to Lititz, PA to remedy it. It's where they do all Daytona work, according to the person I spoke with.

I have never really looked into Reddit. Is the Rolex section more, um, how do I say this politely?....more varied in content than here?

Oh my goodness, what a story!! As someone commented on Redditt, this indeed is like the grown up version of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. So amazing.

Great story and background to your watch. Not sure what Rolex would think about it but that visit was totally priceless. Thanks for sharing
