Rolex... or Candy?!?!

Mods please move if I posted in the wrong place...

I was enjoying a slice of pizza for lunch when the busboy asked, “what kind of watch is that?” I rolled back my sleeve for a better look and replied “it’s a Sea-Dweller.”

He said “I never heard of that brand” so I told him “Sea-Dweller is the model. It’s made by Rolex.”

He paused, looked closer, and said “I thought Rolex watches looked like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups!” I had a good laugh since I assume he was talking about watches with fluted bezels. Now I can’t get the image out of my mind lol lol.

That story makes me hungry.

I've used the "It's a Sea Dweller" line before when asked. That's as far as I go in explanation.

Lmao. Took me longer than I’d like to admit to understand the fluted bezel reference. What a connection haha

That’s a pretty specific reference. Looks more like a bottle cap to me. Maybe he was messing with you.

Same. If they don't know what it is, it's not worth it lol.
