Aesthetically: What looks nicer, Daytona white dial 116500 vs the 116519?

Price/marketing/hype/metals aside, what do you like more in terms of aesthetics?

Both incredible

For me the 519 - dial has more depth, despite being steel, almost matches the hue of the WG in well lit conditions.

The Black OF against the solid sub dials and ceramic bezel looks very aesthetically pleasing.

Definitely the OF, followed by the black 116500. That WHITE on the white 116500 is just way too stark. Completely subjective, of course.

I like solid subdials.

Metal, OF, or alligator... all look good.

My vote goes for the high contrast white SS. I tried on the WG OF model this past Christmas hoping it would convince me to pull the trigger on purchasing it, but the color combo in the metal didn't seem right to my eyes.

OF, it has a high contrast yet extremely harmonious feeling to it.

I'm lucky to have both the 116500 white dial and 19Ln OF. Putting aside cost/pm etc..
I love them both equally but they wear very differently.
500 more dressy and for occasion. 19LN more casual/versatile and probably as a result gets more wrist time.

I have wanted a SS Daytona since the 80s. The 116500 white dial absolutely fills that spot for me. It’s a keeper no matter how high they are selling for after market!

Tough one. Both nice. And honestly, complement each other nicely. Could see both in a collection despite both being Daytonas of course. Forced to choose, the 519...maybe.

I have never appreciated the Daytona. Saw it in the display window years ago and thought it looked it very small. In fact tiny.
I saw the 519 on YouTube at the weekend and I don't think I've ever seen a more beautifully balanced watch. I tried on Daytona for the first time yesterday and I totally get it. Very very special.
I'm doing a 700 mile round trip to try the 519 and a few other watches as obviously no AD has any hot models. I rely on pics in this forum but like so many say pics do the watches no justice. I'm obsessed with the 519. I just hope in person it lives up to my expectations. I'm very confident it will. I couldn't afford to go grey but will patiently wait however long through an AD.

Black 500. Not even close. The WG on rubber is not a good looking watch imo.

I find the white dial least attractive of the bunch by a wide margin. The black dial is numero dos, and for the win.......the OF.

Black ceramic hands down.
The white ceramic is lovely, but not as impressive on the wrist.
And rubber straps just look cheap to me, no offense to those that love them.

Dunno. I’ve tried on four Daytona’s now. Black dial, Newman OF, WG OF, WG blue dial. The SS is by far the least impressive of the bunch.

For me, it's the 116500. I have an Omega Speedmaster Pro which, for me, is one of the OG chrono's. The 116500 complements it in my collection.

116519. Ideal watch would be the 116509 with the ceramic bezel of the 116519

I like both so much for different reasons. Both could happily coexist in my collection. I honestly cannot choose.

I have seen people mod the steel dial on a bracelet and for some reason it did not look as good to me
