Is the Air-King 116900 the only current model that....

doesn't have a variant? With the new Explorer 1 now being offered in TT, does that make the Air-King the only watch in the entire lineup (classic & pro) that is a single model with no dial, color, metal or bracelet variants?

The current AirKing (116900) is essentially a variant of the Milgauss

I suppose the Yacht-Master 42 is limited to one variant, but is still technically a variant of the Yacht-Master family members more generally.

OP, based on those criteria, I believe you are correct. The Air-King is the only model left where there is no "Configure" option on the Rolex website.

I love it I’m too tired to find a picture on my phone lol but it’s such a great watch very unique. If you’re starting out with Rolex and want a steel model it’s a great price and accessible too. Huge bang for buck as far as Rolex is concerned.

And the dial also screams Rolex that has to be a plus right!

Previous commenter is correct. The Airking is a variant of the Milgauss.

Funny enough, I just texted my AD to ask about getting an AK or on the list for one and the response was "you'd have an easier time getting a Pepsi...believe it or not we get more Pepsi's than Air Kings...."

Go figure lol.

For each person looking for an Air King, I wouldn’t be surprised if there are 20-50 looking for a Pepsi. And I doubt they are receiving Pepsis:Air Kings in that ratio. I would look around if I were you — I think you should be able to find an AK without waiting too long. It’s probably the easiest sport model to source.

Who knows, so I said "put me on the list for both...."

Let's see what happens.
