If anyone is thinking of adding a RubberB...

Hi everyone,

I just purchased a Rubber B strap and received it yesterday for my Daytona. In talking with the rep via email, I found out it also will fit my BLNR. So, I’ll probably swap it between them this summer.

I created a video of it that might be helpful for those considering it. Spoiler alert ... I love it!

Here the video:

https://youtu.be/LwZ8dbR3S7g

Here’s a pic:

I was a little hesitant with the white thinking it may get dirty, but they even include a strap restorer.

Exactly tell me how the watch was ruined? I find that it's nice to be able to switch things up. Really like rubber on watches when I use them during the summer months!!! So please tell me how a temporary change ruins a watch???

To me, this is like putting a spare tire on a BMW M car. That's just my opinion. I know others love the RubberB

Are you one of those who couldn't get your hands on Daytona?

Your opinion made no sense. Now, if you had said, the 'white' strap doesn't suit the watch, that's an opinion. But seeing a watch on Rubber strap and posting saying it ruins the watch without any reason is not a serious opinion.

I like the look. Rubber B are great straps. Changing straps is a bang for the buck when compared to buying a new watch. But that may not matter since you already have a Daytona.

I think it looks awesome! Thanks for sharing the picture. Rubber-b makes a great product - I have several. I have put them on a RO, Aquanaut and a few of my Rolex’s. I velcro version was my least favorite. I was able to get a few Oysterflex straps from my AD and have put them on my Explorer and CHNR - they are a little more comfortable than the Rubber-B and have the titanium insert so you don’t have to worry as much about the rubber tearing. Only problem is that they only come in black…come on Rolex - make some more colors and let us buy them from our AD’s!

Wearing my Rubber B right now, and love it. Although I went with black.

Hope you enjoy it! Should look great on the BLNR as well.

I like the rubber B idea but that color combo is a heck no for me. As long as you like it though OP that’s all that matters!

Everest has a tang buckle black with a blue strip that would look great on the Blnr, dresses it down from the polished center links of the Oyster. Sold out, however. Rubber B’s thin blue strip on black is not as striking.

Not a fan. Not at all. But if you love it and it makes you happy, then that’s all that really matters.

I have a black RubberB with orange stripe on my Polar Explorer II. Fantastic look, extremely comfortable, my summer watch regular wear.
