New Yacht Master next year?

Hi everyone!

As next year will mark the 30th anniversary of Yacht Master’s launch, do you think Rolex will release a new model/variation to mark the occasion?
And if yes, what could it possibly be?

Happy to hear your thoughts & Good luck!

30Years!

Time went by quickly. Way back then, no internet (outside nerdy circles), no dominance of Apple...ostrich straps, roman numbers on dials...

There has been talk of discontinuing the 116689 WG YM2 so maybe something to replace that

YM2 case and bracelet definitely need some tweaks and updates, like the Explorer II recently received.

Honestly as l don’t think YM2 will be touched for this occasion as it was launched in 2007. But could ofcourse happen, its still a Yacht Master after all…

A return of all YG or all RG would be cool.

Bring the YM2 to 42mm from 44 and consolidate the line-up to 37mm, 40mm and 42mm. Same like the sub line with 40 sub, 43 sea-dweller and 44mm deep sea. THE YM2 has got a good complication but is simply too bulky a watch to wear hence the limited demographic like the JC deepsea.

That's a strong possibility
