Looking To Purchase On Ebay

Hi I'm new to the forum. I was thinking about buying from Ebay. I would only purchase from ones that seem as if they have a legit business. Could someone possibly help me out with legit ebayers. I'm a newb at this as I can't even tell real from fake. I don't want to get ripped off. How do u guys feel about Becker Time and The Watch Empire?

Don't buy from Ebay sellers. Much better to buy from known sellers on this forum.

And that's perfectly understandable. However, we do have several very reputable resellers on this site that have an impeccable transaction history. There is a section called the Who's Who, and that has all the recommendations. But if you want to buy from ebay, definitely post the link to the watch in the Watch Out part of this forum. You'll get about 5 or 6 very solid responses as to which way to go.

And don't forget, even with eBay, there is no enforceable contract in place either. You can still get a box full of kleenex if you're not careful.

I'm new here too, about a month. From what I've seen, you can do very very well here on TRF buying from a reputable seller in the Looking To Purchase area. Take your time and have a good look at the Looking to Purchase area. There are threads in there which talk about the reputable sellers. It looks like some of them have a large number of satisfied buyers. I don't think eBay is any safer.

I've been posting on watch out for a week or so now and when you stop and actually look closely at what is being ofered on fleece-bay I wouldn't reccomend it.Many of the sellers in the for sale section rely upon their reputations and I cant believe any of the dealers,for want of a better word, would want rip somebody off,reputation is everything and you only have to read some of the replies in who's who to understand who you are dealing with
