Submariner pearl lined up

Some of us wear our Rolex watches 24/7 and some appear to walk around in bubble wrap to avoid any possible scratch. I have two rolexes and I alternate days. I’m wearing a watch 24/7 - shower, pool, ocean, exercising, sex, sleep, work, playing sports with my kids, barbecuing, etc. My GMT dial rarely shifts, but my Sub dial shifts frequently, mostly during sleep because I move around (so my wife says). How many of you NEED to have the pearl line up perfectly?

If I notice it not lined up, I have to get it back to 12.

I’m assuming you mean the bezel, not the dial?!
I’ll square it back to the 12 position once in a while, but really not too concerned if it isn’t top and center.

I’m not super anal about it, but if I notice, I will line it up at 12.

I added sex because a. many don’t have a sense of humor on this forum, b. some folks are overly protective about getting some wear and tear on their watches, c. Just meant to be to be a lighthearted comment.

If I notice it, I line it back up to the 12. And I enjoy the satisfaction I get while twisting the dial!

This post made be check mine... time to take her for spin!

JC DSSD here - will definitely line it up when I notice its off of 12, but don't always notice - it makes no sense but this is what I do

I've heard the bezel turns easier on the 6 digits but have never had my 5 digit pearl be off the 12 unless I turned it. I use mine for timing things constantly so if it's off the mark I know something is being timed. Which is a nice reminder too. When I'm done I always return it to position.

The bezels on the 6 digits don't turn due to centripetal force, at least they're not supposed to. If anybody's bezel moves off of 12 without them turning it, it either took a whack or they need to get it serviced. I just didn't want you to think that the bezel being easier to move on the 6 digits is a problem.

I use the bezel frequently as a timer so the pearl is almost never on 12, but the GMT triangle is ALWAYS on 12.

I do the same! I’ll line it up if I notice it.
