Ebel "Miami Vice" wrist shot

Shot this today at my summer home. Nevermind the date... I never bother with it as I change watches all the time.

Wonderful!

Those Ebels where so ahead of their times and the appearance in the iconic Miami Vice make them a classic!

I have managed to get a perfectly unworn one many years ago

Super cool!

Every time I think about Ebel, I think of Greg Norman! Photo below is from Hodinkee's Talking Watches segment with Greg Norman.

Good read! I always wanted an early 80s Day Date (like Crockett's fake) as I preferred early seasons of show. However, your Ebel 1911 looks fantastic. As you say "watch people rarely need a sensible reason to feed their addiction".... so Ebel goes on my list.
