State of My Collection...Thoughts?

Hey Fellas (and ladies),

Here is what I have acquired and built over 5 years now. The Yachmaster 2 was acquired at a 20% discount and the SD43 at 5% off and no tax. All bought from ADs, 2 most recent pieces are Bluesy 41 and Panda Daytona (have on an Everest strap for regular wear).

All the Omegas I got in the last year and well under retail.

Hamilton reverse panda intramatic is 1968 piece limited edition I got for 1300 barely worn by original buyer.

I think my next adds will move to Gold and Patek. Gold Day-Date w/silver motif dial and sticks and gold Daytona with green dial which my AD will get me at retail. And then ill possibly be able to get a Patek steel nautilus at retail.

Thoughts?

I think, you might mean, the bracelet?

Critique: Nothing to critisize. Nice selection.
Find a better background to photograph your watches.
Your bedspread makes them look like the display in a downtown Cairo market.

It's a diverse and nice collection, congratulations!

Just that I wouldn’t bring the price topic that often when presenting mine. If bought retail or grey, It doesn’t make it more or less valuable in the eyes the WIS buddies here on TRF, it just tells about how connected you are and that’s not the main idea in a collection.

Unless it really is.

Nice watches. I’m not sure why it was relevant to point out what you paid for them, that has nothing to do with the quality of the watches.

Enjoy!

I think a move now to Haute is a good one, whether two gold Rolexes will get you a unicorn 5711 is the question, hope you guys are on very good terms or married to each other's sister.

I would distill the collection down to your favorites and add PM pieces and complications.

I'd settle for the 2 Subs, the BLRO, and the Daytona on the bracelet...

I agree, less is more. Frankly, 3 watches might be the perfect size for practical purposes... but I think it could be reasonable to have a few more, especially if some of them carry a sentimental value or mark a special occasion.

I'd keep the two subs, SkyD, BLRO, YM2, Daytona on bracelet and add a 5711.

Critique it... well it’s a fantastic collection. Good brand, function and metal variety, missing a full PM piece though if I’m not mistaken.
My critique would be there are too many watches, would you be able to narrow it down and maybe add a very high end watch? Lange, Patek etc. But I think you’ve got a fantastic collection.

I think that’s a great collection you built and ventured to other brands too. I particularly like you having Hamilton watches there and not just the expensive pieces. True collector.
