Spring Bar Question

Hi all, I am trying to swap bracelets on my BLRO and original 2018 BLNR. The BLRO takes the oyster no problem but I can't get the spring bar to deploy on the BLNR using the jubilee spring bars. Am I doing something wrong or is this not possible (I thought it was). Thanks everyone!

The later models use a different size pivot at the end of the spring bar, and the larger pivot will not seat into the earlier, smaller, lug hole.

Measure the pivot ends of each of the spring bars and see if that is your problem. The other thing that they have done is to move the drilled hole fore or aft. Measure each of your watches inside lug to determine if the holes are in the same place.

Happy to see this type of question and answer. It is always good to learn these details.

Thanks for the reply! I was under the impression the jubilee would fit an original BLNR but apparently not. I tried using the spring bars that came on the BLRO thinking the bars should stay with the bracelet. I'll try the BLNR bars with the jubilee and report back. As a side not it's not nearly as easy as the YouTube videos make it look to change bracelets. I even got the 7825 tweezers as recommend. I have worn Rolex for years but never tried swapping bracelets. The BLRO looks nice with the oyster though...*♂️

You're right.. Those videos make it look so simple, but if you never done it before you need to have some patience. I got all the tools to swap my oyster from my AK to Everest Rubber strap and thought it would be easy...Not.. To make things a little harder the screw at the clasp didn't want to budge and I read to heat it up. I got my cigar torch and heated the bottom of the screw for a few seconds and it finally came out. I was sweating the whole time.. Took a few tries to remove the bracelet and replace with the rubber but at the end it all worked out. I like the AK on the rubber and it saves my oyster bracelet from getting scratched, it resting in the plastic pouch that came with the Everest..
