This or that: OP36 blue vs silver fluted
Was intrigued by the new Explorer 36 release, I picked up these two discontinued OPs. First time owning 36mm watches, coming from other 40mm SS models. I've discovered these to wear much more comfortable on my 6.75in wrist.
Blue Explorer dial 116000 - an OP with a striking colored dial that aren't 2Xmsrp. Imagine that. Silver Explorer dial 116034 - I paired it with my super jubilee, which I find works much better than the brushed oyster due to the fluted bezel. Consider this as my no date DJ. Lighter color makes this look bigger than the blue also. Going to give some time with both to decide which one (or both) will have a place in the collection. Curious to see what your thoughts are on these two OP, and in a collection already with an Exp39 MkII. Three Explorer dial watches seem redundant, but they all have different appeals to me. |
