Wimbledon TT Rose, Yellow or wait for all stainless?
So my AD has both held till tomorrow am.
I am not totally sure if I will pass as I prefer the all stainless (but I need to see them first). Would you go for 1.TT Rose Gold 41mm jubilee fluted Datejust Wimbledon dial 2.TT Yellow Gold 41mm jubilee fluted Datejust Wimbledon dial or 3. Wait for an all stainless Datejust Wimbledon dial Hopefully seeing them will make up my mind but what do you prefer? Thanks PS I have a smooth Bezel Oyster 36mm, which seems to be loaded out to my wife or son depending who gets it first. |

Ah found it 126334.
The stainless steel looks the best to me. But all depends, what did you want?

I do seem to be overcome with if they offer it to me buy it at the moment, I am waiting for a special 50th birthday watch next year, either Platinum daytona or meteorite GMT, the AD seems convinced they will get one or the other, who knows. and I have no idea if buying something they offer helps or hinders, but I am trying not to buy something just on impulse and the fact there is no stock. |

I have #1; it is exquisite. Of course it comes down to personal preference. YMMV.

I like all three, but prefer the two tones.
My buddy has the RG and it looks great. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk |

I have the TT RG and I have to say I love it, looks better in person than pictures and the RG I find it to be perfect. But at the end is what you like the most.

TT Wimbledon dial is spectacular. The dial really was made for TT.

I own #1 and love it. I wanted a TT rose gold DJ41 and the Wimbledon dial was completely off the radar…until I saw it in person at the AD. I think the slate/green dial colors complement the rose gold really well.

In my opinion the yellow gold two tone version is by far the best! I had seen a few at ADs a couple years back and they absolutely stole the show. The colors perfectly mimic the Wimbledon championships when you have the yellow and green, this is called the Wimbledon because of the yellow two tone version, it is the founder. The all stainless is decent but somewhat bland due to the slate dial, the rose gold is beautiful but less versatile, the yellow gold is spectacular!!! If you are going to get a Rolex you should go for the best, and the yellow gold two tone is quite simply the best of the 3, I think you will agree with me tomorrow once you see it in person. Best of luck in your decision

One caveat I would add is that I think yellow gold two tone looks notably better on oyster bracelet, so don’t give it poor judgement if it’s seen on jubilee, ask your AD if they can help you try it on oyster as well

I don't know why you would prefer and inferior metal to gold, get the #2 and call it a day.
I have seen all 3 in person and would go for the the YG although RG is nice too but not for my skin tone. |

My feeling is that this is the best configuration around the Wimbledon dial. Such a pretty watch. Nice one. RG jubilee is a close second. SS with Wimbledon is not that great in my personal taste, I feel this dial needs the contrast of TT.

Agree, I know I can be bias since I have it but I recently saw the same TT on the jubilee bracelet and still preferred the oyster over that one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

TT looks classier, YG or RG depends on your preference, both are gorgeous.

Ad held a Wimbledon dial for me as he thought I would like - I was already interested in buying a tt datejust but with champagne dial. Really didn’t work for me I think it looks best on stainless.

I think the yellow and steel on Jubilee Wimbledon is a seriously underrated watch.

To keep to its “heritage” the DJ II original and only combination was fluted and oyster steel and gold.
Otherwise get what you really want. The stainless will eventually turn up if that’s what you really want. ADs are not your friends unless they actually are your friend. They will offer you something to sell. Don’t succumb if it’s not what u really want |

Well I passed, the AD had also told someone else they were in and he turned up at the same time, I was above him in "the list" so it was my choice first. I liked the Rose gold one but so did he and was his dream and first Rolex so I let him get it.
The AD though he would be in later and it was a bit awkward. After the other buyer left the AD apologised gave me a Rolex Keyring and promised he would help me get me something special later on in the year after I get the DJ. I am not regretting passing so that confirms I made the right choice, and the AD hopefully comes through for the special watch I am after. |

Buy what you want, but the TT DJ 41 yellow gold Wimbledon is a great watch. It inspired me to search for the watch I actually wanted, which is the 126333 jubilee/champagne dial, which is will own for the rest of my life

I find the yellow gold with flutted bezel and oyster bracelet to be my favorite combo for this dial.

as already mentioned i think this is the one rolex that belongs in two tone, just depends on whether you prefer rg or yg. also rg two tone can look like a steel watch sometimes as it's really subdued versus yellow gold so it all comes down to preference there
