16013

Not long ago I was gifted (from my father) a circa 1976 16013. He originally gave it to me with just the watch itself. I sent it to a local professional watchmaker I know in the area and he made it like new. I had him find me an alligator strap for it. I was originally ok with it (I’m not a fan of straps) so then I went to get a brushed stainless steel oyster band for it just to give it some feel. Wasn’t really happy with it. I started to research and these originally came with a jubilee bracelet, not a fan. Upon further research I found a two tone oyster bracelet that fits it. Bought it off of an AD they even sent me the tool to install and voila. Very happy with it. For a 45 year old watch (bracelet was in excellent condition) and the watchmaker made this puppy look brand new. This thing looks and feel awesome. Here are some pictures of the progress. Enjoy.

Nice classic. Enjoy!

Two-tone watch case definitely needs a two-tone bracelet. Stainless steel doesn't mix up well.

You are definitely right on that one. I personally did not want the jubilee bracelet that goes with this ref. But to my luck I found this oyster in mint condition from an AD. Very happy with it

Looks great indeed! Though I also like how that looks on the strap and on the steel oyster
