Request: DJ lume shots.

I want to see any DJ lume shots you have and please include a lit face shot as well, thanks!

My Datejust was an older model with the crappy lume. By the time I became the owner it would not glow at all. But in the interest of fun this is what it looked like-

hi Russell

Good one. Yes the lume does wear off after several years. Both my DJs are just like Russells.

Damn, really? It isn't luminova or equivalent? That's a pretty big downside. I am considering moving to a DJ for the smaller case size and the even more comfortable jubilee band but if I can't read it in the dim or dark that really would bother me.

Mine was an older model from the 90s, I would imagine the contemporary models have the good stuff on them!

No complains here, but then again this watch is only 20 years old...

OK so the current models with superluminova should be the same as my current model only with much smaller points that are lumed? I saw the difference from the 16710 to my 116710 so that would be the same but only stepping backward from the GMTII I guess. I could likely live with something brightness wise to what Idle Swede has posted as long as the lume has the current charged lifespan of superluminova.
