Has anyone converted a TT Daytona to a SS model.
Pros/Cons & Cost.

How do you mean? doesn't TT Daytona have a gold bezel/buttons/center links? Just curious.

Yes you have to replace the bezel, crown, and pushers. Plus the band. And in most cases the dial.

I can't think of any pros to that....doesn't seem cost effective at all.

Not worth it and it will be considered as not authentic because RSC won't touch it.

I was not going to do it, I just wanted to open the floor up to see if anyone had and everyone esle's thoughts. The only I would ever make any changes to a Rolex is if I some how was able to retain the orginal parts. That seems to be harder with each passing day.

Why on earth would anyone take a nicer, more expensive TT and turn it into a SS model? That's just crazy speak.

Would anyone try to change an S-Class into an E-Class?

I've done a lot of things with watches...

I gotta agree with Sand here... I mean no offense, but if you would rather have a SS, then just get one, they are much easiER (Point being, still not easy, but easiER to get then they were, even from ADs) to get nowadays. You could sell your TT to help pay for it, or keep it as a second Rolex, but converting a TT in to a SS just doesn't make a lot of sense.
