Hiked Zion National Park with my OP39mm White

Visited Zion National Park for my first time this weekend! Did a few hikes and got some miles on my OP39mm White. I was debating putting it on a nato strap before the trip, but figured the bracelet would be fine. Aside from my constant sweat mixed with sunscreen causing some slip-n-slide action on my wrist (was in the 90’s at some points of the hikes), the watch performed perfectly!

Be sure to bring the watch to Angels landing, and the narrows. Also if you get the chance take a picture at subway

One of the best Rolex references in the past several years. A great all-arounder!

Utah, about 2.5 hours or so outside of Las Vegas.

Great place. Was there last week for several days. Wore my SD43 and had a blast.

I was there back in April. Beautiful place. Should be on everyone’s bucket list. We flew in and out of Vegas and spent a week there too.

Awesome! I took my boys there during lockdown. Stayed in St George even though it wasn't too far from home. The views are great. I wore my turquoise OP41 if I recall.

"......the watch performed perfectly! "

What was your expectation during your hike? Did you expect it to stop working while you were walking?

Great place and watch! Zion hikes are perfect with understated watch like Explorers or OPs.

Even more "Explorer" than the actual Explorers imo. Sir Edmund would probably appreciate this reference (even though an automatic). Great pics

Thanks for all the kind words! Zion was amazing, I for sure need to go back. This did make me want to get a rubber strap for this watch, on the market for one now. Any suggestions? I’ve had a Everest in the past for a submariner, but might try the Rubber B this time, the Everest flared out a bit too much for my small wrist.

I have another National park trip planned later this year. Of course pics to come when I go!

Zion National Park is for sure on my bucket list! Great Pic! By the way I have a new Rubber B strap in black with the buckle that I bought for my OP39 but have never used it. If you are interested I would sell it to you for a nice discount. LMK.

Only 5 hours from Moab. Maybe I’ll visit both on a road trip with my Jeep!

That Jeep is so cool! Love the white. My sister just traded in for a new Rubicon. She lives on a mountain in NC at the top of a two mile heavily rutted drive, basically a goat path. I’ve barely made it up there in a regular 4 wheel drive SUV! Coming down it, I needed a change of underwear!!
