For sale is a pre-owned near mint condition 36mm 18k yellow gold Rolex Day-Date. The 18238 is an W serial dating to approximately 1995. The watch will be accompanied by a Rolex box, factory service paperwork, and service guarantee card. The watch was recently serviced by Rolex in June of 2021 where it received a movement overhaul, replacement crown, hands, bracelet link, and polish. The President features a champagne-colored factory set diamond dial with date aperture at three o’clock and day complication at noon. It should be noted that on this example the dial has a matte yellow-like quality, distinguishing it from the more ubiquitous soleil style of champagne dials. The case has been previously polished and retains a sharp profile with even lugs and sharp chamfers. The 18k fixed fluted bezel remains sharp with very little wear. The 18238 is mounted on an 18k yellow gold 8385 President bracelet which remains in approximately 75% condition with light to moderate stretch. As sized, the watch will accommodate a 7-inch wrist. The Day-Date is powered by a Rolex caliber 3155 which features a double-quick set function and 48 hour power reserve.
