Silver Serti Sub: The only diamond watch I like

Diamonds are a bit much on men's watches. Kudos to guys who like them and wear them and ignore what other people think. No problem with that at all. They can be pretty cool on a Breitling Super Avenger, etc. There's that "bling factor" that some people like. Absolutely cool.

Personally I'm not into bling but damn this silver Serti Sub is a good looking watch. Not many people even know that this model exists. It's quite a looker (picture just a web find).

In general I like diamonds on a watch but IMO they don’t suit any sub well.

I felt that way too until I walked into my AD and saw this in person:




I had to buy it on the spot and haven’t regretted it at all. Rolex knows how to put diamonds on a men’s watch without it looking strange on the wrist IMO.

I love the serti subs and GMT's. I'd love one with a holes case.

I had the chance to buy the Serti but chose my 16613 bluesy. It was the diamonds. If they had the Serti dial with just the sapphires at the 6, I, 12 and regular sticks at the others I would have gone with it no question.
