Is it safe to wear my Rolex in the water? Day to the Spa

Clickbait indeed... For anyone who knows me they will know I never take my watch off. I sleep with it, shower with it and go everywhere with it. Occasionally, when my wrist feels it's had enough of my watch I'll take it off for a few hours.

Today was a trip to the spa (we were booked in for the couples retreat and so took my Mrs and my soul mate)

I hear many people saying you should never ever take your watch in a sauna. Absolutely nonsense.

Wear them, enjoy them these are one of the world's finest / reliable watches. It has never let me down.

So good, I wear my 16710 all the time, Sauna, followed by zero degree cold water swim/dip/, cold plunge and steam room, never ever had a problem. As for my 16610 , i did that for almost twenty years and only had one service. Lost it on concrete floors so many times, never ever did it let me down.

The SA told me not to shower with my Deepsea, so I abide.

Must be nice. I was washing off my Omega Speedy and was worried the kitchen faucet would totally destroy the watch and ruin the movement.

Phew, looks like I may be OK. Not sure tho, will report back if anything changes.

LOL

So I guess my question is.... Did the Mrs mind that you also brought along your soul mate? And if so, how'd you get that to happen? Enjoy!
