Maybe they took them off to save a bit of time and fuss when sold...?

Get it polished, it helps if not deep.

You’re gonna get scratches… not that big of a deal after you have it for awhile..can’t get every scratch buffed off when it happens… wear it and enjoy it…

The only Rollie I know is a very good camera which stores that sell watches do not sell. And the only important bits when buying any watch is the condition the warranty, price paid and not the stickyback plastic.

All of the stickers were removed from my CHNR when I picked it up from my local Goldsmiths in May.

Saved me a job peeling them off haha.

I have taken the liberty of assuming that your keyboard did a typo and you have actually bought a Rolex. Sorry if I've got that wrong.

Yes, it is Rolex policy. The AD has been told by Rolex that they will lose their franchise if the leave the stickers on your watch. The Rolex geostationary satellite is watching them and they know it.

Shame about the scratch. Are you sure the AD did it? Have you spoken to them about it? Goldsmiths sold me a Tag with a scratched lug. I took it back next day and they offered to reduce the price and issue a refund for the compensation, polish it and knock a bit off, or give me another one. I took another one.

Rolex may have a policy that you can't have your watch polished. Your AD should be able to confirm if this is the case. Rolex have so many policies in force this week about so many things, the ADs must be finding it difficult to stay on top of it all. Some may lose their franchises. You had better get back to Goldsmiths quickly before they lose theirs.

Find myself apologising again for having fun ok - ROLEX I bought

Yes I spoke this morning and they confirmed stickers come off standard and I agree all watches get scratched my hulk had plenty but it’s the customers privilege to create those scratches..I’ve barely touched it so doubt it’s was me I suspect it happened during link removal which begs point perhaps they should remove stickers after any adjustments are done to protect

My only thought is manager promised to get me an OP41 green within 12 months and I don’t want them to feel awkward because of this - perhaps just leave it?

All mine from GS have had most stickers removed but they never manage to get them all, always find a couple after a few weeks!

Re the scratch, they will more than likely want to send it away to polish it out, maybe worth finding a local person who is up to the job, in my locality there is a guy who had rolex accreditation who I have used when service isn't required.

Enjoy the new rollie!

My vote is that mods limit the forum to one Sticker Removal Shock thread a year.
