how many trf members do you personally know???

part of the rolex fun is flipping... well not really it's quite painful letting go. anyway now that i'm considered a flipper i've flipped 6 rolex watches in 8 months yes and the best part is i've made new friends by flipping them and they are all trf members and three of them i actually met in person.

i met 3 trf members in person and became my good buds!

how many do you know?

Good question!

Buz-lh sold me dad's Bluesy, and I'll always consider him a friend thanks to that bond. We spoke on the phone a bit but never met, hopefully we will soon!

Quite close with one or two members, and great acquaintances with others.

Diablojota and I have a date on June 6th, so he will be personally known to me after that

I'm fairly new to this forum so haven't had a chance to meet to many members personally.

I've probably only met about 30 - 40 so far...

Me, myself and I.

Hopefully someday I will be able to meet the TRFers around San Francisco. Maybe someone will plan a TRF barbeque in the bay area.

Thanks Dan !!! I was going to say the same thing !
I've met MANY TRF members at the Kentucky meet !
Good times !! It's sooo cool to actually meet the people you interact with on the internet, in person. We found we have a lot of things in common. I'm glad I made some new friends !! Of course, there is many people on the forums that I've never met that I still consider my friend anyway :)

At various times, I am guessing I have met 7 current & past members.
Chatted with a number on the phone, feels like I've met them & been long time friends.

"how many trf members do you personally know???"

Hmm... define "personally". Away36 cooks me great dinners then tells me where to dig holes for her garden plants. Does that count?

Haven't met a single one of you in real life (to the best of my knowledge), and I am not high on post count... but it feels like I know a huge bunch here ;-)

This is a very friendly and welcoming forum!

Best,

Just one. ASTCell. I actually knew him before I came to TRF and was kind of surprised when I saw him posting on the board.

It would be nice to meet more. Maybe a MD/DC/VA get together followed by crawling the local ADs to get group discounts
