Sending a DJ for service
Hello all. It’s time for service. I live in Arlington VA. I did some google research to find an AD to send my watch for service. I’m a bit confused. Will Tourneau send my watch? Does anyone know a reliable place? This will be my first time sending it. Thanks.

Any AD will pack up your watch and send to Rolex Service Center for you. Just take it to the AD of your choice with the warranty card. They can do the rest.
Alternatively you can call RSC and they will send you a shipping label and you can send directly to them if you choose. At least this is how I remember it from 6-8 years ago. Sent from my Galaxy S20 using Tapatalk |

Tourneau should do this but you want to really confirm they will send it to RSC and not their own service center.

I had a good experience with Tourneau. I went through them to service my Day-Date. They did in fact send it to RSC, but I asked for them to and not perform any service in house.

I just read this. They told me they had their own “certified” people. What do I do now??? I left the watch in Tourneau this morning.

I'd go through Tiny Jewel Box in DC or one of the ADs in Tyson's. |

Don't let them argue with you, if RSC is what YOU want. You never know who or how qualified the AD's "certified people" are, if they will not tell you up front. I am VERY picky about who services MY watches, and so should everyone else.

Many of us wouldn't use Tourneau for anything, but it definitely depends on where and who they actually end up using. Perhaps next time you need a service you could send it directly to the RSC closest to you. You will get provenance established, a world-wide Rolex 2 year warranty and the paperwork that goes with it, and they will throw in a nifty travel pouch.
