Should I, or Am I Just Crazy??
Hi all. I need your collective guidance and wisdom! I bought a BLNR in 2017 at retail with a 10% discount, and have worn it as part of a rotation since then. I have never fallen in love with it, and at 40mm, I think it is a bit small for me. I currently wear a 43mm Seadweller and a 44mm Panerai, which I find to be better fits.
I have a deal with a trusted seller to sell it at 14K should I wish to let it go. My plan is to sell it, and buy a Tudor GMT or Tudor Chronograph. Tell me my plan makes sense, or tell me that I am an idiot for selling! Thanks in advance |

I love the Batman and do not personally like the Tudor’s, but it is your watch. You would be getting a profit and your money back with that deal, while wearing a watch you love. No brainer do it.

I think it looks perfectly sized in relation to your wrist.
Ultimately it is up to you and if it doesn't sing, you won't ever truly feel satisfied with it. Never settle. Having said that, 14k is a little low on the offer proposed. I think you should negotiate 16 and come down to 15. Maybe you can pick up the Tudor GMT in a trade and walk away with some cash (say, 11-ish?) Just be careful as I would worry that the date-wheel problem is likely prevalent among the Tudor GMTs on the secondary market. |

Tudor GMT is an amazing watch! However, I think size wise it will wear pretty similar to your BNLR.
I would do it given the info you provided. |

Since yo never bonded with the BLNR, I would outright sell it and see if there is an opportunity to try other 41mm or 42mm Rolex watches. Trading for the Tudor GMT is not something I would do.

Looks a perfect size for your wrist to me, BUT there’s no sense in keeping something if you’ve not bonded with it and don’t wear it. What’s the point of that? Much better to sell and buy something you WILL wear and enjoy.

Everytime I think a watch is small I look at the old Daytona’s…
Having said that if it doesn’t sing to you I would trade it for another Rolex Only. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

My Tudor GMT wears larger than a Rolex GMT in my opinion. You’ll be in the money. Do what you like. I have a 7.5” wrist and prefer my 16750 over all of them.
Really about personal preference. If you can swing it, I’d buy the Tudor first and see how it goes. You know the history of your Rolex. It’ll be tough to replace if you change your mind but, easy to sell once you’re sure.

That’s a tough one. I’ve gone through phases like this where I think some references look too small, but over the years I’ve come to realize that it’s really nice to have a variety of sizes in your collection.
For me 40 mm Rolex wear the best, but I also love to strap on my 47 mm Panerai for fun. Only you can know what you like to see on your wrist OP |

It's your call, but I would not personally get rid of that specific BLNR if in your shoes. It's a late model 3186-powered GMT with an Oyster, which I personally consider to be a real gem and a keeper. But if it doesn't speak to you, then it doesn't.
In terms of looks, IMHO it looks fantastic on your wrist. |

I also am considering letting go of a "hot" watch for a lesser thought of watch. I say go for it.

If you don't love it, go pocket the 10k + Tudor GMT. Another way to look at your original purchase:
- Free 4 year rental of the Batman - Free Tudor GMT to Keep - Free High End Celebratory Dinner Out - Plus some cash leftover I'd say you did very well. |

Batman looks good on your wrist but if it doesn't sing to you, it's time to let it goes.
Get whatever make you happy.

Just buy the Tudor GMT at discount and keep both. Can’t really compare the 2.

If you don't love wearing it, love it for the return it's giving you, although with a Tudor you are clearly trading down. To those who say the offered price is too low, what's the market asking for at retail?

As the owner of a Tudor GMT & BB58 (blue) along with a 114060, I can confidently state the bracelet quality of a Tudor pales in comparison to a Rolex. This may or may not be important to you, but I’d get one on your wrist before committing to the trade.
Having said that, IMHO the Tudors are worth every cent of their asking price, if not more. |

It’s whatever floats your boat OP. You’ve asked for opinions and you’ve received. I echo the above thoughts. I wouldn’t exchange, sell or otherwise dispense of any sports Rolex in favor of a Tudor. There isn’t any Tudor watch that I feel even remotely comes close to Rolex. I may be biased, but then again this is the RolexForum.

Your watch, your choice. If there is no love and you would prefer the money, it's a no brainer.
From what I have seen of the BLNR on Jubilee and the BB GMT, I could not get on with the comparative lack of wearing comfort of the Tudor. This may not affect you at all. You'll have to try it first to be sure. |

I would say sure since you don't love it, but then the question become whether or not you would love the Tudors.

I have a 2017 as well. 10% off at the time... was what? $8000?
I also have a 43 sea dweller and recently helped a relative grab the new pam 1312. Had the 41mm Tudor GMT I think you should hold. The Tudor GMT wears larger bc it’s thicker. But visually it looks similar in size due to the design proportions of font, bezel edge, muted colors... the chrono is a totally different watch. I would wait until this craziness is over in like a year or two and buy it at a discount. It feels unlikely but that’s what’s happening with Bb58 black, blue, Tudor GMT after 1-2 years. I would also hold in case you have a son or someone to give it to. Maybe you can look into trading up to skydweller instead |
