Taking a long time for my rolex to come in. How long did you wait?
My AD have had no rolexes in the store since start of Covid, had to order mine as "custom" though its pretty standard. Date-Just Jubilee bezel, two tone bracelet. Anyway, I ordered from store late April and I STILL dont have it! They said about 3 months and we are past that now but it just surprises me its been so long. Anyone else bought a Rolex during Covid? Anyone else having long wait times?

I see this is your first post. Welcome. Rolex demand is at ridiculous levels at the moment. Wait times will vary by customer, location, previous purchase history etc.. search the threads for wait times and this will give you an idea of how crazy things are.

1 week for a Milgauss
Thought the forum was full of it after that when it came to scarcity Then it took 6 months for a BLRO, so I guess it’s true |

1 day with the right relationships and history. 1 decade without. Everything in between has been known to happen!

Did they mean no Rolex models have arrived for you since the beginning of Covid?

My first 2 Rolexes I purchased in 2019 and since Covid I purchased another 13 Rolexes. In 2020, there were plenty of Rolexes in ADs but 2021 is different story.

Average wait for me 3 to 4 months I would say. I got 4 recently from my AD: Sub LV, TT CHNR, RG CHNR and lastly Oyster BLRO. I have a few more on order and hope to have them by year end. I am fortunate though as I have been dealing with the same owner for many years. He doesn't make me buy anything I don’t want nor has the ever asked me to bundle anything. I see a watch I like and I order it and he always comes through. A long term relationship with an owner not a sales rep is the only way to get what you want when you want it period.

I called an AD 3 hours away, asked about a Sub, we talked...he called me back 10 min later. The following morning I drove to get it. 2 weeks ago... zero history, zero lunch, etc... good lord man, it is a watch. Some of y'all are silly. |

My old boss shops at the same Ben Bridge Rolex AD that I go to.
I've bought one Explorer 2 there and waited about 5 months for it. He's a heavy $ spender at that store - and he waited 3 years for a panda Daytona. He got that watch just a few weeks ago.

About a week for my BLRO after expressing interest. But difference is, i was actually “qualified” for one at that time. (Previous expressions of interest got rejected)

Don't forget: between ordering in April, and now in August, I think there was an unanticipated distribution shutdown due to an IT systems upgrade. So, if you factor that in, you're not that far behind schedule.

2022 is my 60th birthday... i am hoping to roll that into a pepsi, if some AD takes pity on me. |

As some have said you will see wait times vary from 1 day to years....
Bottom line, if you haven't received your DJ TT after 3 months, it just means you're not high on the AD's list of good clients. Sorry to say. |

Ha, spent 3 years hoping an AD would take pity on my 70th which was just 3 days ago. No such luck.

My wife and I checked 3 AD's in the Toronto area this past week:
1st AD - Went in and they only had maybe 10-15 watches in the store, but nothing we were looking for 2nd AD - Phoned first, then had virtual appointment (WhatsApp), but they did not have what we were looking for 3rd AD - Phoned first, but they would not do virtual appointment, so we drove over and saw 30-40 watches in the store (also carries Tudor) We walked out with DJ 36 for me (Everose/oystersteel, fluted bezel, MOP dial with diamonds, jubilee bracelet) and DJ 31 for my wife (Everose/oystersteel, diamond bezel, silver dial with diamonds, jubilee bracelet). |
