Chip, you're an inspiration!

I'm sure everybody knows our resident master of the lens - Comatox (Chip) and his awesome photos! So, I tried to follow his lead & give this watch photography business yet another try. A better macro function on the point & shoot would be great, but I'm pretty happy with the way this one turned out, I actually like the blue-ish cast too. So... comments & critiques people, bring it on!

Not bad, Otis. You are learning well from the Jedi master, grasshopper.

I like it Otis!
Like yourself, I find the blue hue kinda cool looking and different.
Not much to critique here. Next time, I would try s slightly shorter exposure time so you can gain some detail on the glowing markers. Other than that,

I played with it some, but just like I said to Al yesterday, if it is good, there isn't much you can do in photoshop to make it better!

Awesome, thanks!
Yes, I look at the original now and see that the markers are a little soft. And you've darkened the background a touch too, my eye is drawn more to the watch now.
Great tips, as usual

Very nice photo Otis.
Photoshop can make a photo a little sharper, and get rid of small imperfections, but if I understand Chip correctly a top quality photo can't be manufactured by photoshop from an average photo.
However, I do photoshop my average photos to make them look 1/2 decent.
