Surprise VC Addition

Admittedly, I’ve been falling further into the VC Overseas blue dial hype and have been patiently waiting to add one to my collection. They are stunning in person but it’s quickly heading the way of some of its competitors such as the AP RO.

Somewhere along the way I discovered I’m one of the few that equally appreciates the silver dial and found a DT without either a substantial wait and/or markup.

The bracelet I believe is THE best in the business for this tier and I love the touch of color on the dual time hand.

The movement is a bit of a disappointment without hacking along the hour/minute hands shaking a bit when jumping hours but still quite happy to add this to the collection while it’s still attainable.

This might be the ‘one’ that passes down to my son when I retire from my day job, as it feels like a timeless classic.

Nice and congrats! I especially like this one on the rubber straps, the silver dial is so versatile it works well with most colors of straps. You should get both blue and black at least :)

Congratulations.
I also chose the silver dial. I’m glad I did, I find the dial to be amazing.

Having said that, I’ve also ordered a blue dial chrono.

And I think eventually I will add the black dial 3 hander as well

Freaking gorgeous. I love my blue 3-hander, but if ever wanted a dual time, this would be the one.

Agreed, the included straps are a game changer 3 looks in 1 without having fret about scratches from swapping. Not sure how the better half feels about getting 2 more but definitely the dream!

Appreciate it, and congrats on getting on the list for a blue DT. I believe most of the boutiques are closed for their lists for 2021 in the US so that is fantastic you were able to land a spot. How long have you been waiting?

Thanks, yeah I'm really excited about it! I put my 30% deposit down back in May and was told the list was closing imminently. I just hope I get it before yet another price increase

That's awesome. Far as I know, Vacheron will honor the grandfathered rate you put the deposit on so even if there is another increase, you'll be able to purchase at the price you were quoted at the time of deposit. (Win-win).

Many thanks! Something nostalgic about the watch that reminded me of a vintage silver dial DJ my late grandfather used to own mixed with a modern touch. Keeper for sure, may now need to start saving for the actual VC daily.

Well done! I honestly think the silver dial is the best looking and most versatile...and I normally prefer blue dials.

Congrats -- I think I'm to the point now where I prefer the dual time and VC's other more "complicated" sports watches over the "simple" Overseas (blue dial or otherwise). Wear in good health
