Case of the Blues

I’ve recently found myself not giving any wrist time to my DD36 18238. This is likely because I now very much prefer 40mm size. Since I’m not wearing the DD36 much, I’ve decided to trade it in (no papers) for a YM 126622. My dilema is I like the blue dial (from pictures) but already own two blue dials.

Two questions:
-Would this be a fair trade?
-In person, do you prefer the blue or rhodium YM?

Current collection:
116613LB
DJ41 Blue
BB58 Black dial
PAM388

Thanks all!!

Get whatever you prefer. If the blue YM sings to you, it's waiting for you.

Rolex do a lot of blue dials. They're all different, apart from being blue!

I understand the blue thing. I have several blue dial watches and am considering another. No advice other than do what makes you happy.

Why not look at the YG Yachtmaster with the blue dial. They are discontinued but can be had for what is considered a deal in the current market. You should be able to do it for the DD or at least be close.

I’d go blue as it’s my favorite color. Connsidering your collection though, another dial color might be a nice contrast/change of pace to look at on your wrist.

So true. I was just concerned the YM blue dial would be very similar to the DJ blue dial.
