The watch you are wearing is now your “forever only” watch.
Hi All,
Wanted to get your reactions: the watch you are currently wearing (or most recently wore) is now your only watch from here on out. Are you happy/sad? Wish you were wearing a different one? Pics welcome too! :) |

Read my recent incoming thread, the title alone will tell you all you need to know as far as I am concerned. I found “the” watch in form of the Sea Dweller 43 and couldn’t be happier with it. Cool question and premise, looking forward to the other answers to this.

For now? 100% satisfied with my new sub LV and feel like I could wear it forever. But I have owned it for like all of 6 months
The reality is though I am sucked in. Rolex will continue to innovate and iterate. Maybe 5, maybe 50 years from now, they will come out with something else that I feel I must have, and I will buy it. Already starting to feel that way about the Tudor BB GMT. That said, not only is my LV my first and only Rolex, but it was my wedding gift from my wife, so it has more sentimental value than any other watch I could ever own. |

Yes. New explorer 1 is the most subtle and versatile watch. Natural fit!

If that was was case I would have zero regrets as it is my grail DD 40.

That would assume I am buried with it on my wrist.
Forever is a long time - just saying. But realistically- no. Something will catch my eye in the years I have left that will take its place until the embalming. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Bb58, i could do it! However i did just leave my AD and tried on the 41mm sub, i would much rather wear that forever. I prefer the date.

Have three now but this one would be it. Added bonus that it purchased at retail and with the old card with my name on it

Explorer 124270. It's going to hurt bashing it at work!

I dunno, can't do just one. Not for many decades. How about just two?

Very satisfied with my 126610LV, but would be sad to never get a 116500 white dial.

The Hamilton Khaki Field my wife gave me. I’d be absolutely content. I love this thing, and it’s by far the least $$$ piece in my little collection. I actually haven’t gone a day without it in 3 months, despite races, wrenching, etc etc. Means a lot to me.

Wearing Seiko SKX009J1 now. Happy to have it as the only one forever, if needs be, as it's a great tool watch/diver with useful day and date function, classic design and I wear it most days anyway.

On a long RV trip- currently at Custer State Park in South Dakota. This has been my daily for the past month. Probably not my first choice from my collection, but I’d be satisfied as my one and only.

Wore this one today. Could be a great only watch, but I’d need something a little more subtle some days.

Currently wearing the 124060 but would be slightly disappointed that I’m not wearing my Hulk. I can certainly live happily after with my No Date Sub.

Looks like I’ll be stuck wearing the Tudor BB GMT as my forever watch and I’m okay with that. If you’re thinking about it, take the leap. It’s a fantastic watch.

Forever is a long time and timekeeping technology changes, so between now and the time I kick the bucket I could possibly change my mind, but I'm wearing my 16710 and could see it being my "forever only."

DJ II for me. I’ve been happy with it for about eight years and don’t see that changing.
