Just got my Daytona... From 'no watch' to '2 Rolex' in 1 week
Hi All,
Thanks to you (good or bad), I am an addict... I just received my Daytona to wear on more casual occassions and to save wear and tear on the Prez... I even had to get a winder... Anyone have advice on which program to use for winding these watches (clockwise, counter, both)? Anyway, here are my poor photography skills. And yes, one is a few seconds ahead of the other... but I did not even notice the second hands when I was setting the time on the Daytona... so, not too bad, eh? |

Congratulations on your two new babies.
My winder is set for both directions and they are always wound when I take them off.

Congratulations! Beautifu pair.
Rolex rotors wind both ways so it does not matter which way your winder turns.

I got the winder from swiss-wrist.com... they state it is several hundred dollars marked down to $275... I paid much less because I am becoming a decent customer, I guess. I know nothing about winders, but this one seems pretty nice and it has several programs as far as winding direction and duration of on/off. |

Funny you should ask...
3 hours after my Daytona was adjusted, I ordered a 36mm DJ with a channel set diamond bezel and MOP/diamond dial for the Misses... converting a 10 year Tag owner... the disease is spreading! I was thinking about picking up a new Z serial pepsi GMT, but she put the brakes on that. "But this is the one Magnum P.I. has" didn't even work. |
