first visit to RSC : clasp

Long story short, have been lurking here more than creating threads, but I do occasionally like to make fun of useless threads, and some people might consider this one (karma).

I dropped by my ad yesterday, my watch class on my 126300 DJ 41 seemed a bit off. When putting bracelet on and closing it, didn’t hear the ‘click’ anymore, but it still felt secure. Once on the wrist, part of the clasp seemed to bulge up (hard to describe, wish I had taken a pic).

Told that to the salesperson, who said it’s normal… I insisted, he said he would check it out and maybe a clean would do. Comes back 5 min later and says ‘you are right something is wrong”.

Watch is now being sent to rsc to investigate. 6 weeks I was told. A bit annoying for just a bracelet issue… maybe I should’ve kept the watch head? Would they have agreed?
Anyways, now for the wait. I seriously hope it goes under warranty, the watch is barely 2 years old and while it’s worn everyday, never dropped.

I used to make fun of the old tin bracelets on the 5 refs, but again karma hits back. I never had an issue in 10+ years of 5ref bracelet…

Will post updates! see you in 6 weeks lol and probably won’t have much to share haha.
