No YouTuber is more consistently wrong than that guy.

Common sense that Air King and Milgauss are due for an update. Eventually, something will happen.

Its been rumoured for some time, they are the only two models with the older movement. So as already said it would make total sense that's these will get discontinued or updated.

Have to agree and why the need to post these types of topic on forum defeats me, as today the likes of Youtube nothing more than clickbait.

he looks like a stand up guy, but his content is always in this style, I don't watch his videos because it's just clickbait.

His videos are entertaining. Don't agree with a lot of what he says but he was a grey dealer so he does have knowledge and experience which informs his opinions. Never understood the hostility to other people's opinions. It is free to watch and free not to watch.

A gobshite with a camera and an opinion.

Wow! How did we ever manage before?

Which remaining Rolex models are plodding on with the last generation movement?

I'm from London and I can't watch him. Didn't even make it to the end of that video. It's like listening to a London cabbie go on and on. "I 'ad that 'ans Wilsdorf in me cab last week.".

I've watched this guy before, and suffice to say, I don't even click on his videos anymore...I saw the title this morning, somehow it came up and I don't even subscribe, anyway, take what he says with a grain of salt!!.

He sounds like an idiot; I only hope they pull the Milgauss from production as I love mine.

The Bozo in the Tube aside, the only improvement since 2001 for the movement in the Milgauss was a Parachrom replacing Breguet overcoil & a few more hours of power reserve.

So it’s overdue for an overhaul.

The 3230 is in the Sub & OP - maybe it goes into AK & MG?

If you make a video about this every year then one day your prediction will be correct.

His older videos (when he was giving his perspective as a a watch dealer) we’re informative, now as a YouTuber his content is very “low iq”.

Most likely update.
Rolex doesn't kill models without update or replacement. Lets wait and see :)

Is the Paul Thorpe who does these YouTube Rolex prediction videos (as referenced in the OP) the same Jamie Paul Thorpe or Brighton who was convicted as a counterfeit watch dealer and had his bankruptcy restrictions extended for eight years in 2019?

Genuine question. I don't know if this is the same bloke. If it isn't, he's got a rather unfortunate name by association.

Doesn’t surprise me. Whenever I hear Paul bleating on and on about integrity and honesty being the most important things in the world, the less I’d be likely buy a watch of him. Especially with his random perfume affiliations and dodgy signet rings for sale.

But he did predict the Kermit before anyone. I’ll give him that. So maybe he’s right about the milgauss too. He seems well connected to me.

Thank you all for the confirmation. I thought he looked a bit too old. Apples and trees, yeah, maybe harsh, but I can't help mentally leaning in that direction.
