No. No. No. No. No. Wrong.
Not going to happen. Sub and DJ are two of the most iconic watches in the galaxy. Rolex sells so many of these - individually, they are much less profitable than PM, but they sell many many more. |

Once watched a video of his, after a few seconds you know the kind of tool he is. At least archieluxury was entertaining (then in a cringy kind of way). Have stopped looking and wasting my time with those people.

Rolex isn’t patek, without steel watches they are no longer in the game. Reason 1 why it cannot ever happen, the submariner. Rolex will always make a SS submariner.
I’m sure Rolex would love to sell primarily TT and gold watches. Who wouldn’t. It’s a minimal additional cost and a maximum profit. I don’t think their primary clientele has the pocket for full gold watches. I also don’t think the majority of wearers want TT watches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Highly doubtful… what would be the point? SS is their bread and butter.

Agree and today many rely on the likes of Youtube or so called social media to do the thinking for them. As many today have lost the use of there own brain to think for themselves.

Yes, it makes perfect sense that Rolex would discontinue all of the things that make them the most money. Sounds like a solid business plan if ever I heard one.
The only thing in that video that seems plausible is Rolex upgrading all of their main movements to a 72 hour power reserve, just like Tudor did. |

Doesn’t make much sense, steel is a steady (cost) supply, where gold is always fluctuating !

Yeah.. No, I don’t think so. Who really knows, anything is possible I guess, and it is interesting to speculate what that would do to the market. I guess my SS Sub would be worth more then the AG models!
