Early Roger Dubuis Chronograph monopusher
The Much More 32
Its of course my personal opinion but I really like this one. White gold, great dial, top movement. And while once it was VERY expensive ... USD 42 K early 2000 ( to give you an idea, the Patek 5070 white gold with similar base movement was only USD 28K in 2002 ) ..... Today it's one of these unbelievable bargains. The Patek 5070 became pretty expensive and the Roger Dubuis Chronograph Hommage and Sympathy followed. The Much More however did not get the attention it should get. No idea it it ever will but tases are so nice and good and inexpensive ( for what you get ) that you just have to buy one. Forget about hyper inflated steel Rolexes and other steel sport watches from the usual suspects. There are real bargains in the market today and imo this is one go them top movement but difficult to capture due to it's curved saphhire

I was looking at an early bulletin D'observatoire but they have come up a lot recently.
The easy divers with the same movement can be had for very good prices nowadays... Although the styling may be somewhat of an acquired taste. |

Early RD timepieces are 'masterpieces' imho. Have noticed their prices have been going up in the past year too.

To this day i STILL kick myself for not getting this. Wanted it, it was at a store back then brand new at his authorized dealer @ Bellagio in Vegas I was visiting too.
To this day i remember that feeling... Pics do it no justice, but they kinda come close. Maybe. If you ever have a chance to see one, do it.

for example the Much More 32 with 3 hands, gold case will cost you today between euro 8000 and 12.000 depending condition, box and papers I mean 10K for a TOP BRAND with superior finishing and a gold case... Thats the same price as the market value of silly OP41 People are stupid not to buy these right now. Or maybe they simply don"t know cause they only look at those massive overpriced Rolexes. I hope via forums like these some people will take a look at all the bargains out there. I"ve been many times in the Patek Museum. Philippe Stern bought the most incredible watches in the 1960's till 2-3 decades ago. He bought when some pieces were insane cheap in the 1990's nobody wanted pocket watches, he bought the most incredible pieces that are worth a fortune today. I mean, today is NOT the day to buy steel Rolex, Patek and AP on the secondary market ...buy those that people don't look at today. At some point in the future you'll be happy that you made some decisions 'against the flow'

The only thing that comes to my mind as alternative is Parmigiani Fleuerier 8 day movement with tons of inwards angles selling for less than Sub.
