I was getting my Honda Fit windows tinted and met a fellow with a Fusion while waiting...$32,000USD!* (I could buy two Fits for THAT much, or a new work truck!)

He has ALL the bells and whistles on his and he likes it so far.

The only thing is, like the VW TV commercial says, when the green light comes on on the dash, the car is on.

No Vroom, Vroom.
Only the whooooo of the hybrid motor, but 40-50 MPG.

I get 40 ± on the highway in my Fit. (NOT A HYBRID )

*Spend a little more and get a Lincoln MKZ sedan.

...just my 2¢

Too bad you don't live in the USA. Last night on the news I heard another gift the government is giving us is a tax credit of $1,500-$3,500 to buy a high efficiency car.
BTW, I save about $4,500 a year using a Prius I bought for work instead of my Cadillac.

How is the car you drive going to make Mexico City a less dangerous place to live?

I imagine that driving a safe (well rated) auto will help to keep him, and his family, safe.

Be safe,

Brother (Dude : )...Can you get a Honda FIT/JAZZ?!

Highly rated!

Great economy!

World class!

Fun to drive!

Honda! (Don't they make Formula 1 engines?!)

All this coming from a 50+ year Chevy/GM type family guy!? Who'd a thunk it?!

(See the Blazer in the back ground?! )

Exactly thats what I mean, I like a lot the Honda Fit but I see two problems in it, first, I don`t like manual transmissions, living in the wolrd's lagest city I drive a lot in traffic every day.
And with the automatic transmission I feel it to slow.
Anyway hanks for your help.

Ford Fusion is an excellent car. It's a good ride, and for a base model you can pick it up quite reasonably. Great engines and overall a solid vehicle.

Take a look at the new Ford Taurus SHO. Stealthy, powerful, AWD. It's based on the Mondeo.

We really haven't had the Taurus here either. They had the Ford 500 which the rebadged as the Ford Taurus, but it was still a snoozer with regards to sales. This is a whole new Taurus, and I would not be surprised if this one gets a broader market presence.

If the wife can stop the eggs from becoming hard boiled, I will need a school bus. As the old men say, incoming.

I'm guessing this would be available in Mexico, too.

I've been checking prices and the fusion sel v6 is about 26k or something and in my country it is priced in $344,000 mexican pesos, so if the taurus is anounced in 33k Im guessing it will be around the 410,000 mexican pesos and that's out of my budget. Too bad....
