View Rolex’s in Bay Area

Does anyone from the Bay Area know where I can actually see more than 1 Rolex on display? I can’t buy right now but would like to see some models in person, rather than just photos online. I am going to take my GMT to SF to get it serviced and appraised next week so maybe i can add a stop to my trip. I am in the North Bay so anything up here or East Bay is great as well. I’m new to this but really enjoying this forum.

Most ADs in the area have display models now including Westfield Boutique in downtown.

Shreve, about 2 blocks from union square, has a bunch of exhibition models.

Are they open now? I haven't been for a while. Last time I went they were renovating and literally had nothing on display, but that was before the pandemic haha

Don't waste your time. ADs in the bay area are the worst.

What neighboring AD would you suggest? Just curious. I'd like to put my name under more than one AD if possible.

None. I wasn’t kidding. Don’t waste your time. I live in the Bay Area and have to get all my watches outside of it. Don’t waste your time. Bay Area is the worst unless you have a 2+ year client history.

OP was simply asking to see some exhibition models in person. Do you need a 2+ year history to view the exhibition models now?

Yep they are open, albeit downtown SF is not the most pleasant place to walk around these days.

Yeah, I'm not thrilled to go to SF to get my watch serviced but I have been told the place I am going to is really good. I am also wondering if places that used to have watches on display are moving them to the safe because of all the smash and grabs happening.

Fourtane in Carmel by the Sea. They'll at least have vintage/used ones to see. I know it isn't exactly down the street but Carmel and Pebble is always worth a visit.

As already mentioned by another member, most AD's have quite a few exhibition only models you can see, touch and actually try on. The hot SS sports models too.

Heller in San Ramon had a Sub, DSSD, GMT Master Batgirl, Coral Red and Green OP's, OF Daytona, Day Date, Yachtmaster with Rhodium dial.

J. Licht and Sons in the Westfield Valley Fair Mall in San Jose also had quite a few exhibition models and I got to try on a Batgirl for the first time there.

Kern's in Burlingame had some as well, and I got to try on a holy grail of mine.....a blue dial Sky-Dweller! I loved it! Geez, I really wished it was a "real" watch that was available for purchase. Lol.

I only shop at the boutique in SJ. There’s display models there to check out. I’m not a high roller by any means.

I think @rkny was playing grammar policeman; the plural of Rolex is Rolexes. Rolex's is possessive, hence "Rolex's what?."

It's weird being the same age as old people.

Can confirm J. Licht in San Jose has a ton of exhibition models. Shreve in Palo Alto has a few as well.

Already mentioned but Heller in San Ramon and Fourtane in Carmel have a decent selection of dummy models to try on.

Basically any AD in the Bay Area has exhibition models. If you have no purchase history don't waste your time.

everyone else has it pretty well covered. of course, if you want to feel better about looking to buy a rolex in the bay area, try looking for an AP.

I live in the S. Bay and only shop at the AD here. I just visited them this past weekend and they got more exhibit pieces in so there are more variety to look at.
