AK bloodhound / OP no date or / thunderbird

Looking for my first Rolex, the dream is to eventually own a birth year gold Champaign dial day date President. Looking at what my wallet can afford today, I’d be curious to hear some opinions on the following watches future collectibility:

OP 11600
AK Bloodhound 116900 - something about the green in the dial draws me to this
DJ TurnOgraph “thunderbird” 116264 - love the history of these and the red seconds hand

Long story, each model has a great historical story, the latter two never really seemed to take off. Curious if folks think they’ll become collectible?

Thanks for any feedback!

Well unless you were born yesterday do some searches for the DD. You might find one more affordable than you think.

Lol Brenngun, I’ve looked high and low- but you’re right, maybe one will show up when I least expect it.

I'd go for the AK. It's the only one that really current imho.

Old Gold day date is relatively cheap. I would buy an OP36 though because it is more reliable and looks less of an old people watch.

116264 in blue or white is my choice. Underrated. I wish I could afford one.

Buy the watch you connect with to enjoy.
Everything else is crystal ball.

White face 116264, undervalued and looks killer.
The smooth bezel on the OP/ AK Bloodhound 116900 will just get nicked up and show a ton of scratches compared.
