IMO the king has no clothes. I'm not a fan of Banksy or the art world that fawns at him. I dare say, the louts that pepper my exterior wall with graffiti think they have something to offer the art world too.

i dont think graffiti is crap, graffiti to me is a form of art just like anything else, if you are referring to vandalism by painting on somebody elses property without their consent then i agree with you. Banksy is cool, we had a showing of his art in Los Angeles here about a year ago.

I like it.

Like all art, it's subjective...and like most art you either love it or hate it.

That mustard streaked sausage brings back bad memories though Martin!!!!!!!!

I agree with the ex "matelot" on this note. Very over rated IMHO. Only some of us can see it though.....Or maybe we all can really?

I'd be delighted if he came to paint our fence. I'd sell it.
You hear that Banksy?

I like his work. It is certainly more attractive than the commercial billboards/ advertisement graphics that adorn our highways not to mention the awful big box retail architecture everywhere.

Love it! I love anyone who has the guts to stick a finger up at the establishment and Banksy does it so well.

The chimps in parliment is I think is the best artistic statement on the ill's of society I have seen in years!

I was referring to the vandalism aspect of graffiti but also to the poorly done tags that make up most of the stuff you see around town. Once is a while you will see a beautiful tag or piece though, I enjoy those.....wish i could make it to bristol for the exhibition.
