Battle of the TTs (or beauty pageant)

In the famous words of good ol’ jigsaw “I want to play a game”.

If money and availability were no object which one of these TT YG beauties would you choose?

Interested in knowing what the census will be.

That is a pretty awesome piece, but from the black dials would you choose any?

From these - the Daytona.
From the Rolex catalog in general - the TT CHNR

Out of that list - for me no question the Daytona all the way. If it had a ceramic bezel it would look absolutely the nuts.

MrGoat obviously has the same tastes as me as a bluesy would be my #1 TT choice!

From the list you provided OP, I think my #1 choice would be the DJ, exactly as pictured with the Jubilee. Such a classic look! I have always been a big fan of Jubilee. #2 would be the Submariner, even though I prefer all SS in that model.

I might be a vote on the 36mm TT Explorer I, but I have never seen one in person, so I don't know for sure. TT is definitely nice, but I was never much of a fan of it in the Daytona or Sky-D models.

I’m going with the Explorer. Probably everyone’s last choice, but I’ve come to quite like it.

Out of these, Sub Date for me.

I really like the Sky-D’s satin black dial, but prefer it in SS.

Good luck with your choice!

+1 ,

Fully agree, including that order. I own both TT’s. CHNR more modern and warm looking, TT Daytona smaller, and classic look due to YG-Black combo. But you cannot go wrong with either of these two. The SD43 TT just looking to big in my perception (and IS big)

The Submariner! The Daytona is to difficult to read, the Seadweller to big for more than an occasional wear, the datejust is nice but there are better versions. The Submariner is the one.

From that list, Daytona.

But if I didn't already own a Sub, it would be the black dial TT Sub.

Sub for me. I’d say a TT Daytona typically over the sub. But out of your list, I don’t care for that particular Daytona.

From these? The DJ. But if I could choose, I'd say the same black dial TT SkyD but on Jubilee. Now that's a stuner.
