Sub or BLNR for my collection?
I have a Black DaytonaC and BLRO on jubilee.
1. Would you rather add a 126610LN Submariner (Not a ND or LV) or BLNR on Oyster? 2. This would primarily be a work watch. I've never seen a BLNR in person. Is the blue "in your face" indoors or is it more muted? (i'm okay with PCLs, I have them on my daytona) |

I would tend to add a Sub, since you already have a GMTII.
The blue in the BLNR is nowhere near in your face. In fact, it is very subdued and tends to look different depending on the ambient light. It is the more refined bezel insert of the two current GMTII models. A collection could very well handle both of the current GMTII watches, but, you know, a Sub is a Sub and is a very desirable watch, regardless of reference.

Either will be a fantastic addition to your collection. The BLNR is relatively more vibrant compared to the Sub but more muted compared to the BLRO.
Personally I love the BLNR/BLRO combo (one on Oyster and the other on Jubilee) as a pair but some may consider it redundant and opt for the Submariner. Can't go wrong with either.

I would add the sub as your work watch. You have two excellent after work watches!

You already have the BLRO, which runs circles around the BLNR (IMHO).
Go for the Sub. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

As Grady pointed out Sub is the way I’d go. I didn’t elaborate as he did but you already have the BLRO. Why add the BLNR at this point.
Maybe down the road but not now. Make the trio with a Sub then you have your land air sea trifecta

I would definitely go for a sub here. You would have a Sub, a Daytona, and a GMT. Pretty stellar!

I would go with the sub in your case. I think it rounds out your collection a little better than the BLNR since you already have a BLRO.

Sub for sure given you have a BLRO already. Mine feels like a tank and puts up with daily use (& adventures) really well

Based on your collection, the SubDate. And I have the BLNR and love it. I think if you get the BLNR, you'll still want the Sub afterwards.

Holy crap, I didn't expect this to be so one-sided.
Looks like the sub wins by a landslide. |

As much as I love the blnr… given your collection I will say add a sub.
You will have a great trio with three different bracelets. Oyster brushed, oyster pcl and jubilee

I'd say a Sub.
At some point later you can expand the GMT line with a BLNR. |

I have a BLNR on oyster and three SS Subs (2x 6 digit- ND 40 and 41, 1x 5 digit Sub Date) and I honestly never wear the BLNR. The Sub is a better everyday watch in my opinion.
Can’t imagine the 126610 being any different. Will just be a great watch. |

BLNR.
Just because the answer is so blindingly obvious that it should be a Sub. |

Sub, and its not even close! Sounds to me like you don't need another watch, but if the collection insists then it has to be a sub and then you truly have all bases covered (from a sports watch perspective anyway).

I know you already have the BLRO, but I would go BLNR. I'm against the grain I guess. Regardless of collection, functions are more important for me and I am on international project teams so GMTs have a better use case. Of all my watches my BLNR gets the most wrist time especially when I travel. With that being said I do have a BLNR, White DaytonaC, and SubC.

As much as I prefer a BLNR on oyster (preferably 1st Gen if given the choice) in your situation I would go w the Subdate41.
