Rolex Yacht-Master Blue

Never really understood why/how this beauty isn’t in as much demand as the other fire Rolex pieces in the catalog like sky dweller blue dial, etc. It’s really stunning in person. Thoughts?

Always have been a fan of the YM 40 line - slate is definitely my favorite but this blue and red is also a gorgeous combination!

Madly love this watch. But I’m sure by the time I go to buy it it will be impossible to get. I already turned one down from my AD a year ago when the MSRP was slightly lower.

I’ve had mine for 6 years and looks perfect not a single scratch on the bezel and it can be refinished easily

Dial and bezel are gorgeous. I couldn’t get into the red second hand. It seemed out of place.

Depends what life style , for me it’s tool watch and my submariner after 3 years looks not perfect.
P.S. absolutely impossible to refinished this bezel, after you will see very Very BIG different.

It’s designed for sitting on a yacht.

This was my experience as well, plus the watch just didn’t speak to me. It felt like a sports watch but the bezel has a dressier look to it, also it does not hold up to abuse the way ceramic does. That being said it is a great looking watch which is why I purchased it in the first place.

Another endorsement for the YM blue. I love this watch. Wearing mine today. To me, it's like having the rarest of birds: a blue-dial Sub Date in steel (with the addition of a platinum bezel).
