AD advice on buying a Rolex and Omega

Hi TRF fam,

I am in the market for the Omega SM 300 released last spring. Unfortunately the two ADs I have a relationship with don't sell Omega. There is an Omega boutique in my area but I don't plan on buying another Omega anytime soon and would like to have my SM spend help me on the way to a SS Rolex. All this is to say, do any of you have an AD that sells both Omega and Rolex? I'm in the Pacific Northwest and there are none in my area.

Thanks!

Why when you can get the same deal through an authorized AD?

Exactly. People complain about Rolex and their ADs, but the fake scarcity of Omega watches perpetuated by the boutiques requires buyers to shop around, or be ok with huge depreciation on purchase. Also, Omega never discontinues a watch if demand is there, even if its “discontinued”. Last gen Moonwatches are still available for ordering by ADs. 20% discounts if you shop well.

^ Agreed. Buying a SM300 from a Rolex AD won’t get you very far these days. Id prefer the 20% discount on the Omega.

Get Omega from Trusted Seller in TRF Classifieds Section on Non-Rolex watches.

If there is Rolex boutique in your area, go to talk to them. Rolex boutique sell only Rolex, so you don't have to worry about bundle with jewelry or other non-Rolex watches.

I believe Tourneau in the City (San Francisco) carries both brands. Not too bad of a flight from SEA to SFO.

Based on where we live and tax I think you are best to go gray or classifieds here. Plus the Omega boutique at the Bravern can't discount. That boutique is why the other stores had to stop selling Omega.

Thanks, any gray dealers you can recommend in the Seattle area or the PNW at large? Would like to go in if possible.

Omega are available locally from at least two AD's where I reside.
They do not seem to have any issues with "model X not available."
Get your Omega "wherever" and enjoy the heck out of it.
AD's play games anyway, so don't waste time worrying about or dealing with their crap. They can string you along forever. Buy where you can, when you can, is my <successful> philosophy; it has worked well for me over the years. Playing the AD games is a waste.

The only reason to not buy Omega is that you have to wear a ******* Omega!
Not for me under any circumstances. Rather go low with a nicer Timex, Cadissen, Orient, Hamilton or Armitron.

Texex you can make a good purchase with Omega models if you like it, but speaking of horology exist a lot of models and big marks.
This is my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600 y my Omega Apolo 8.
