As far as I know these were NOT produced by Rolex but rather customized by a Japanese company afterwards......

So this one is kind of in the same class as the Daytona Wiener? but rarer. This one is a U serial making it 97'ish, if they were a real rare there would have to be a set number with noted serials on a list somewhere. hmmm whats the bet this one has either an aftermarket or redone dial and the GMT is all legit., still posing to be something it aint!

I saw two of them in a used Rolex store today in Japan. They were for sale for 858,000 yen each. About $8,700 US.
