“Exhibition Models”

Stopped by the AD today. They have been great and put down a deposit on my DD40. What I thought was interesting was that the exhibition that are now in the cases are real watches. Not the empty movement watches that some others were viewing. I asked if they were for sale and they said no. That the serial numbers were all in indicative of non sellable pieces.

I confirmed that today too. All the models are working but they don’t have any papers for them to sell.

“Exhibition Models”

Another 20,000 pt. drop for ₿ will deter demand and we might get equilibrium of sorts.

I thought the exhibition models were for sale after a period of time they've been in stock but the dispaly models were basically empty shell watches.

I was told last week at an AD that those pieces belong to Rolex and they’ll get send back after a period of time.

I also recently handled several models and they are fully functional. AD told me they come in a coffin only, no warranty cards or boxes and they have not been instructed what they will do with them in the future.

I had my hands on a couple exhibition models recently and they are fully functional. AD said they come in the coffin only, no warranty card or boxes and they have not been told what they will do with them in the future.

Shreve in San Francisco told me the watches are non-functional but that they weigh the same as a working watch.

I was told the watches function-which they do, but they have not had any duty paid on them so the can’t legally sell them in the USA

Not for sale. Who knows what Rolex will eventually do with them.
