OP 41 Silver with YG - is it the new classic?
Dear friends! What do You think of this model? Is it really as good and presentable for daily use as one watch? Does it match any style of clothing? Or is it still not a cult Sub)?

I have the 36mm Silver OP. Great daily. Under the right light the gold really pops. I've not worn it much since I picked up the TT explorer. That said the OPs bracelet was much more comfortable.

Well not a sub. But it is a good watch. Basic Rolex. No date function though.

Might be a classic, but not an icon.

OP 41 Silver with YG - is it the new classic?
I think the OP41 silver has a lot of things going for it.
1-Neutral styling, works in any scenario. 2-Most affordable Rolex 3-All new models 4-Only unique dial in the OP lineup with yellow gold applique specially made for just this reference 5-Very mild two-tone styling which is becoming more trendy as the Daytonas and other traditional 2015-2020 era styles become less popular 6-Under the radar reference with demand and pricing 7-Will look good in 20-40-60 years where of-the-moment references will look in the moment 8-39.5 mm case with the short lug-to-lug, strongly tapered 21mm new style bracelet and thin case make it very comfortable and sized correctly for any wrist size 9-The lume looks particularly good with the gold/sunray dial/steel combination 10-All brushed case and bracelet is the best 11-Doesn't look like a Rolex while still looking like a Rolex. Doesn't look corny like a Daytona or Kermit or Pepsi. The classy choice not the I spent too much to take Instagram photos look. Buying what everyone else is trying to buy isn't a cool look for me.

I bought it as it was the OP41 I could get my hands on and have really grown to appreciate it as future classic.

Nice pair! Just curious - how is the OP more comfortable? Don’t they have almost the same bracelets?

I think the sub41 is also a 21mm bracelet with a thicker clasp. The OP41 is probably the widest and most low profile and comfortable oyster bracelet in the lineup. Wish they’d offer a jubilee option for it.

I don't know if it will be a classic, but it's simple timeless design, modern movement, and versatility certainly qualify it for future consideration. It will never go out of style like many of the bright colors. |

I like it the most out of the colours. Definitely a great daily watch.

Love the OP41! Very minimalist styling. Feels classic and modern at the same time (if that is possible).

I just prefer timeless styles to temporary of the moment type of stuff. And I typically prefer alternative styles to mainstream. I don't think the of the moment watches will have a great reputation in the future. It'll be seen as very 2019 sort of how people look at Tridor's and old Cellinis. It's just personal preference though. I don't see the 2015-2019 era being the best Rolex will ever be. It's just a temporary hype bubble. I guess we'll see if Ceramic white dial Daytonas, Green bezel Submariners, 2015 Pepsi's and Jake Paul holds up in 20-30 years.

I love it, which probably means the watch is never going to achieve "classic" status.

Classic? Probably not. Timeless, indeed! Very clean, simple and will stand the test of time.

I love the OP Silver, my favourite of the OP bunch; however, I think it'll be the 36, not the 41, that will be the "classic".

I think the 36 and the 41 are nearly identical. It's really just a matter of wrist size at that point.
I have a 7.5 inch wrist and wear it normal tightness, not too snug and not loose enough to slide up and down easily. I think the 41 is a perfect fit for me. Just the right amount of wrist still uncovered by the lug to lug. For 7 inch wrist or smaller I'd recommend the 36. |

They had this at my AD in the case a couple months ago. Tried it on. Didn't love it.

I think the explorer as it's from the professional range has a different clasp whereas the OP is from the classic range and has a simpler but more comfortable clasp imo. With the explorer I get the occasional pinch or hair pull which I never got with the OP.
