I prefer the black or blue dial myself, but yeah, that's a special watch.

Definitely a special dial! I myself equally love blue or meteorite.

Looks great.
I’d love to see that meteorite dial on a white gold Sub with blue bezel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

One of the nicest in the catalogue!
In this crazy environment I find these to be a lot of watch for the $ (relative to whats happening). |

It’s a real life watch, you just can’t understand this watch as much in photos. In real life the contrast in colors between bezel and dial, then the detail in the meteorite, it’s something special.

You cannot photograph the way the dial speckles, along with all the details. In the flesh the GMT meteorite is very overwhelming. It's a "loud" watch obviously, and is very striking. |

Just got mine a few days back and I’m trying a different approach, still hovering over it, I want to make the honeymoon last with this one. Quick breaking in with the others didn’t help.

I could only hope for a blue/white bezel paired with this meteorite dial.
I've been looking at the new launch from Grand Seiko - but the watch diameter is about 1-2mm larger than I would hoped for. |

Gorgeous watch, but I'd have to sell my 8 piece watch collecton just to get one. Then have to worry about getting mugged when wearing it. Lol

Funny timing on this post, I had a long conversation with my AD yesterday regarding this exact reference. I expressed my interest in it when it was first released in 2019 but have not gotten lucky yet. He feels strongly that this reference with meteorite dial will be discontinued this year to make way for an influx of meteorite Daytonas. He alluded to having some sort of inside information on the topic but I’m sure he actually knows nothing. I for one hope very much that he is wrong!

I feel this way about all watches as I won’t consider one without trying it on and this piece underscores that philosophy |
