New BLUESY owner
Hello to all!
Just 3 hours ago I unpacked my 16613 "Bluesy"! Now itīs a little to small for my wrist, and an AD is 1 1/2 hours away. Where is the GREAT Thread about how much links a Sub has, how to unfold ( THAT I could, but where are the thin extensions? ) it??? Pics will follow! Set the time and I am now checking it for accuracy. BTW is the crown bigger in Gold than the SS one, or is a Triplock crown bigger than a 16710s GMT II, one?? Greetings to all, Hermann |

Congrats, Hermann........well done!!
You should have 4½ links on the '6' side and 9 links + 1 flat link marked "S" on the '12' side. I'm not counting the SELs planted between the lugs. Crown size should be the same. This one is a MONOBLOC crown which has an 18 K gold cap on top of a steel one which, naturally, has steel threads. Enjoy that beauty and wear it in good health!! JJ

Found the diver´s extensions!
Just a slight pull with the link unlocked!! Now the Bracelet is too large! ( and doesn´t sit good, because of the "step" at the end of the clasp! ) How do I adjust the lenght with links "in"? Do I have to move the "bar" that locks the links, too?? I think there´s a trip necessary tomorrow ... Hermann |

Found it!!
Adjustment must be with the divers extension out - correct? That means, I have only TWO holes to get a fit!!! Not much ... |

To answer your question about the crown, the Submariner Triplock crown is larger than the previous generation's GMT crowns. The SS Sub crown and Gold Sub crowns are the same size triplocks. The older GMT crowns were smaller.

Congrats on the TT Sub. You'll love it. You'll want to adjust the clasp with the divers extension in, as that's how the watch is normally worn. The extension was made to deploy when worn over a wetsuit. Of course you'll have to open the divers extension to do the adjustment itself.
It sounds like you may have some adjustment left in the clasp. You can move the clasp bars by depressing the ends through the holes in a clasp. They're kind of like little toilet paper holders. For the 6 side, I'd keep that in the very last hole. Do your adjusting on the 12 side. Good luck. Hope you don't have to get any more links. |

Thanks, Karis!
Tomorrow I get the bracelet extended two holes, or perhaps they have an additional link at Wagnerīs. In contrast to some other people at this forum ( who I do like VERY well! ;-)) I do NOT intend to flip that watch! And now for something completely different: I intend to buy NO MORE WATCH! Period. --------------------- Except A ) Rolex brings out the DJ II with a dial I ESPECIALLY like B ) I can afford a DD II C ) Rolex changes the TT YM to the bad and I have to do an emergency buy! ;-) Have fun friends, Hermann |
